Are you a high school athlete? Do you have what it takes? Do you have 5 fellow student-athletes are as hardcore as you? If you have what it takes then step up and represent your school and bring home the ultimate reward for your community!

Welcome to the High School Challenge!

Beginning in 2014 The Brian Ward Memorial 5K is offering a “high school challenge” to area High Schools .  If you are a high school athlete/alumni/coach/parent, we invite you to register for the BW5K for a chance to win $1,000.00 towards your school’s athletic program.  We require that each school register 6 runners (3 male/3 female) for the BW5K by June 3rd  2017, and the team with the best score will receive $1,000.00 payable directly to your school’s athletic program.  The team price for this event is $75.00.

The winner of “The High School Challenge” will receive a $1,000.00, a trophy and most important bragging rights.  Step up and register now!

*Scores are based on places, for example: 3rd place overall is 3 points, 10th place is 10 points and so on.  When the your team completes the race their total points will be added.

The team with the LOWEST amount of total points will be the winner

*NOTE THIS IS NOT AN OHSAA EVENT
